Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Box October 2016 Review
Happy Petit Vour Unboxing Day! If you’re new to Petit Vour, it’s a monthly subscription box that comes loaded with samples (including full-sized ones) from fancy, vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic brands. You can peep all my previous PV box reviews here. This goodie box is only $15 a month (super duper good deal, especially considering this month’s box is valued at $38.50) and includes free shipping in the U.S. ($23 for Canada).
You’ll also be able to earn points in their shop with every purchase, review, and friend rec.
October’s Petit Vour Beauty Box included:
Red Apple Lipstick in Rebel!,* $23.50 (already covers the cost of the entire box!) – Rebel! is a sexy-a$$ blue-based red – it’s very old hollywood glamour! It has a satin finish, but if you’re looking for a matte finish, just blot once and TADA! I love the super clean ingredients (especially since we wind up eating our lipstick throughout the day), and the formula is smooth and moisturizing.
Kahina Giving Beauty Beldi Soap sample,* $5 – I was super curious about this Moroccan specialty the second I spotted it. I thought it was going to be a liquid/oil cleanser (which I’m all about these days), but it’s more like a dense, moldable gel. It only has two ingredients (yasssss): saponified olive oil and eucalyptus leaf oil. It left my skin feeling amazing. I absolutely swear by oil cleansers, so this it totally up my alley. Heads up, though, definitely keep this away from your eye area as the eucalyptus leaf oil is no joke (t’will burn your delicate eyeballs)!
Apoterra Tulsi Rejuvenating Oil,* $7 – This oil smells incredible!! Like, I would totes want a bottle of this as perfume. It’s made with tulsi, lavender and evening primrose in a base of lightweight carrier oils, and I’ve been using it on my pulse points as aromatherapy instead of straight up body oil (will last longer, easier to savor). I also really like the elegant branding and glass packaging. This is probably my favorite item in this month’s box!
Pai Serum Concentrate, $3 – This Rosehip Bioregenerate oil is intended to deeply condition skin, improve firmness and elasticity, and promote a clear, even skin tone. I actually use rosehip seed oil every single night before bed, so I was stoked to get this mini, perfect-for-travel sample.
* = PV faves
Overall impression: Lots of value in this month’s box – $38.50 for $15 (with free shipping, yee-haw!). Box faves included Red Apple Lipstick’s red lippie, Apoterra body oil (still reeling off the scent of this), and Kahina’s Beldi soap (because it unusual and intriguing). Everything in this box is a winner, though. Well done, PV!
If you like what you see, you should consider hooking yourself up with a Petit Vour subscription! Also, you can buy products you love directly from PV’s online store. Customers (even non-subscribers) receive 20% back in PV Points with every shop purchase. It’s like a constant 20% discount and when you combine that with the free shipping on all orders $50+… it’s an insane deal. xx
